Sudanese Emerald SN3 Ring

A classic Sudanese market silhouette elevated with SN3 Studio’s sun motif and a deep green stone. The “Sudanese Emerald SN3 Ring” celebrates heritage jewelry and the colors of Sudan.

100% Sudanese silver handcrafted by third-generation silversmiths in Omdurman, Sudan

The Sudanese Emerald SN3 Ring reinterprets one of the most recognizable ring forms from Souk Omdurman — the silver stone ring traditionally set with colored glass or gemstones. For generations, these rings were purchased as gifts, as symbols of pride, or as tokens carried during travel.

SN3 Studio’s version preserves the authenticity of the silhouette while refining its proportions and engraving details. The green stone at the center echoes the landscapes of Sudan — from the Nile’s curve to the agricultural plains surrounding Omdurman.

The ring was crafted by Sami Tabidi in early 2023 in his original family workshop. Every curve, symbol, and bezel was shaped by hand, shortly before the workshop was destroyed during the conflict. This ring stands as a quiet archive of that space and the generations who worked inside it.

Only five pieces have been produced.
